Harlow was an once in a lifetime opportunity. At Harlow we did many outdoor activities. i.e: Low Ropes, Rock Climbing, Kayaking, Bumble, Problem Solving and Mountain Boarding.
In Low Ropes we had to work as a team and help each other balance. It was slightly like tight walking. If you do not take part in the teamwork then all will fail. When one person falls, the others surrounding will also fall SO YOU BETTER PARTICIPATE! There are three sections and they get harder and harder each section. To do this activity you must use your brain and eyes to watch your surroundings and know when to step in.
In Rock Climbing you are taken into a room full of walls that touch the ceiling. Once you're inside you are given instructions on how to put on your safety kit. You are instructed to get into a group of three and were given instructions on how to make the rope swecure and straight. Then one of us must climb up the rock while another person practices the moves to make the rope secure. As you can see, thisn activity is a team effort and many other activities were teram efforts. But some were independant like kayaking where we got soaking and even had water fights!
harlow was a life time experience which taught us many skills of working as a team.the adventures were full of fun and scary features but i will never forget thewonderful experiences in harlow outdoors activity centre. my favourite activity had to bumble because the water is nice and cold and if was fun jumping into the water.
